CDH Convenient Care Centers
Walk-in Service
With extended hours and walk-in service, the CDH Convenient Care Centers are ideal resources for those times when you can’t plan ahead to get to the doctor. We provide care for adults and children. No appointment is needed for most services—just walk right in. (An advance appointment may be needed for mammogram or DEXA tests.)
Turn to one of our Convenient Care Centers for:
- Minor injury or illness that needs a doctor’s attention but doesn’t demand the higher-intensity care of the Emergency Department
- Treatment for people who don’t have access to their primary physician
- Medical care after standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
- Medical attention from board-certified physicians, registered nurses and certified technicians

When Should You Go to the Emergency Department Instead?
If your injury or symptoms are serious or could be life-threatening, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department at Central DuPage Hospital, instead of a CDH Convenient Care Center. The following require attention from a hospital’s emergency medicine physicians:
- Chest pain
- Severe abdominal pain
- Infants under 3 months old
