Pediatric Pulmonology
The pediatric pulmonologists of the Children's Memorial at CDH pediatric program care for children and adolescents with acute or chronic pulmonary disease. They evaluate and treat a wide spectrum of lung and breathing-related conditions including:
- Asthma
- Bronchopulmonary dysplasia
- Chronic cough
- Cystic fibrosis
- Sleep disorders
- Upper airway anomalies
- Vocal cord dysfunction
Services
The pediatric pulmonologists perform state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and provide the latest treatments for common and complex pulmonary conditions. Services include:
- Evaluation of athletes
- Exercise (stress) testing
- Lab analysis
- Lung function studies
- Respiratory therapy
- Sleep medicine programs
- Medical imaging (X-ray)
The Team
The medical professionals on the pediatric pulmonology team are committed to giving dedicated and compassionate care in an environment targeted to the needs of children and their families. The multidisciplinary team includes:
- Children's Memorial specialists, board certified in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology and/or pediatric critical care
- CDH registered nurses, with certification in asthma education
- Pulmonary technicians

Patient visits are scheduled in the Pediatric Outpatient Center on the first floor of Central DuPage Hospital.
