Interpreter Services

Medical Interpreters

We want you and your family to understand as much as possible about your illness or injury, treatment and other issues related to your medical care. Central DuPage Hospital offers interpreter services, in compliance with regulatory standards of the Illinois Department of Public Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Our Interpreter Services department works with patients and families who communicate in means other than spoken English. Our goal is to make sure you receive medical information in a manner that you understand. Interpreters follow the HIPPA Privacy and Confidentiality standards and are provided at no charge to the patients receiving the services from Central DuPage Hospital.

Sensitive to Diversity Among Us

Our Interpreter Services staff is knowledgeable about cultural differences among the people we serve.
