Diabetes outpatient education, now at Delnor

Beginning August 1, the CDH-Delnor Health System will be transferring your outpatient diabetes education services from CDH to a convenient and easy-to-access location —Delnor’s Health and Wellness Center in Geneva. Within the Health and Wellness Center, Delnor’s Center for Diabetes Management brings you a wealth of resources to help you manage your diabetes and protect your health.

Some of the services include:

• Training on blood sugar meters
• Flexible approaches to meal planning
• Counseling on use of oral medications
• Techniques for stress management
• Downloading of data from blood sugar meters, pumps and monitors to see blood sugar trends
• Insulin pump training
• And more
