Pediatric Cardiovascular-thoracic Surgery
Due to extraordinary technological advances, many of the congenital heart defects previously considered inoperable can now be corrected with cardiac surgery. Through Lurie Children's at Cadence Health*, this pediatric program brings the experience and expertise of Lurie Children's pediatric cardiovascular-thoracic surgery team to the medical staff of CDH.
The Pediatric Cardiovascular-thoracic Surgery Team
The Lurie Chidren's pediatric cardiovascular-thoracic surgeons in this pediatric program are on the medical staff at CDH and work closely with other pediatric specialists to determine the necessity and timing of cardiovascular surgery. The multidisciplinary team includes:
