Pediatric Cardiology

CDH CMH LogoThe pediatric cardiology specialists in the Children's Memorial at CDH pediatric program evaluate and treat children with heart conditions such as congenital hearth defects, cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat) and acquired heart disease. The team features a pediatric cardiac electrophysiologist, specializing in the care of children with heart rate and rhythm abnormalities and a pediatric echocardiogram specialist with availability of real-time tele-echo.

Services

In addition to offering extensive treatments, the pediatric cardiology program conducts a full-range of noninvasive diagnostic tests on-site including:

  • Echocardiogram (cardiac echo) - including fetal testing
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Holter monitoring
  • Stress echocardiogram
  • Telemedicine 
  • Medical imaging

The Team

The medical professionals on the pediatric cardiology team are committed to giving dedicated and compassionate care in an environment targeted to the needs of children and their families. The multidisciplinary team includes:

  • Children's Memorial specialists, board certified in pediatrics, cardiology and electrophysiology
  • CDH registered nurses
  • Echocardiography and EKG technicians
  • Child life specialists

Location

Patient visits are scheduled in the Pediatric Outpatient Center at Central DuPage Hospital located on the first floor near the East entrance.
