Central DuPage Hospital offers two specific Summer Internship Programs

Summer Internship (Nursing)

Central DuPage Hospital's Summer Nurse Internship Program is intended for nursing students looking to enhance their clinical skills.  In addition to providing nursing students exposure to the many facets of patient care, we have designed our program around hands-on learning experiences.

Summer Internship (non-clinical)

Are you currently pursuing a healthcare career and would like the opportunity to work within a healthcare setting during the summer?

Central DuPage Health's summer internship program is designed to provide students with a broad and meaningful educational experience within various medical and business disciplines. During the eight-week internship, students are able to shadow technicians, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as they provide skillful, compassionate care and services to patients. Students will learn about and observe cutting edge medical procedures, tour various areas of the hospital, and chat with some of the most dynamic CDH staff and leaders. Students will also be assigned a team project that will be discussed during the first week.
