This pediatric program started in 2005 giving area families access to Lurie Children's pediatric specialists for inpatient, outpatient and pediatric emergency medicine services - all in one convenient suburban location.

Round the Clock Inpatient Care from Lurie Children's Pediatric Specialists

Lurie Children's neonatologists, pediatric intensivists and hospitalists staff the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the general pediatric unit. Pediatric emergency medicine specialists manage the Pediatric Emergency Department. Pediatric surgeons perform inpatient and outpatient surgery. Pediatric radiologists are available on site and remotely to interpret medical images and scans.


Central DuPage Hospital

The Pediatric Outpatient Center has three clinical areas (Clinic "A", Clinic "B" and "East" Clinic) which are all easily accessible from the East entrance on the CDH campus.  Clinic areas "A" and "B" are located on the first floor.  The "East" clinic area is located on the second floor right inside the East entrance.

The Pediatric Emergency Department is accessed through the main Emergency Department entrance.

The main CDH Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Children can be treated during all hours.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the Pediatric Inpatient Unit are located on the first floor of the hospital, easily accessed from the Women and Children's Entrance.

The Pediatric Short Stay Unit is located on the fourth floor of the hospital, easily accessed from the the Women and Children's Entrance.
