Central DuPage Business Health is the occupational health division of Central DuPage Hospital. With multiple convenient locations, Central DuPage Business Health provides complete occupational health services for local businesses and their employees. Our services include DOT & Non-DOT drug & alcohol testing, employment physicals, DOT and OSHA compliance physicals, wellness and safety programs, treatment of work-related injuries and case management.
Our staff works with employers to customize an occupational health program to meet each employer’s specific needs. Central DuPage Business Health also offers onsite health, wellness, and safety services including onsite physician and nursing coverage.

Central DuPage Business Health provides occupational health, wellness and safety services for employers of all sizes throughout Northern Illinois and Chicago's western suburbs. Our services include the following
Physical exams and drug screening
Post Offer physical examinations can help to assess an individual's ability to safely perform essential job functions. Examinations and screenings are customized to each employers needs.
- Post-offer physicals
- OSHA-mandated medical surveillance physicals (asbestos, respirator, etc.)
- Executive / Wellness physicals
- Drug screening, including post offer, reasonable suspicion and random testing
- Post accident / injury testing available 24 hours a day (Drug and breath alcohol)
- Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) services
Department of Transportation physicals and drug screening
- Required for Department of Transportation regulated employers
- DOT Post-offer and Renewal physicals
- DOT drug screening, including post offer, reasonable suspicion, random testing
- Post-accident / injury testing available 24 hours a day (Drug and breath alcohol)
- Random drug screen consortium program

Worker injury services
Prompt treatment can help injured workers heal more effectively so they can get back to work quickly.
- Initial treatment and follow-up care

- Work status form with any restrictions are noted and sent to company representative

- CDBH works closely with employers to assist with reducing lost time injuries and OSHA recordables
Health promotion, safety and education programs
Aimed at keeping employees healthy and productive, health promotion programs focus on disease prevention and early detection. Wellness programs can be tailored to your employment population, based on average age, gender and personal or family health history.
- Health fairs and cholesterol / wellness screenings
- Immunizations, such as annual flu shots, Hepatitis A & B immunizations
- OSHA hearing testing, including onsite annual testing and training
- Safety programs, including back safety, CPR, first aid, OSHA blood borne pathogen training
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
EAP programs help individuals and families work through personal problems that may be creating obstacles in the workplace.

Locations and Hours
The Business Health facilities are open long hours to accommodate busy work schedules. Our emergency department in Winfield is open 24 hours a day. Check each site for specific hours.
