A Spectrum of Services for Older Adults

Through its network of affiliated locations, Central DuPage Hospital provides a range of services including health screenings, fitness programs, state-of-the-art treatments, residential options and home healthcare services.

Health Screenings

The older we get, the greater our risks become for cancer, stroke, diabetes, heart disease and many other conditions. In many cases, detecting illness early translates to better results from treatment.

Throughout the year, Central DuPage Hospital offers health screenings aimed at early detection. For your convenience, we conduct some screenings, such as blood pressure or diabetes screenings, at community-based locations throughout DuPage County. Other screenings, such as mammograms, require more advanced technologies.

Whether at the hospital or in the community, we encourage you to take advantage of these screenings for early detection.

Seniors Staying Fit

Strong muscles, bones and heart are keys to staying fit as we age. The Senior Fitness program provided by Central DuPage Hospital is specially designed for the needs of older adults. The program includes a variety of exercise options, including yoga for seniors. Classes are held at the Wyndemere Senior Living Campus in Wheaton, Illinois.
