Our Goals

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from non-cardiac circulatory problems of the arteries and veins
  • Provide a comprehensive outpatient non-invasive vascular laboratory services
  • Provide percutaneous and/or endoluminal treatment options for cancer and non-vascular disorders

Arterial Circulation - Full range of open and minimally invasive treatments

  • Treatment of Thoracic Aneurysm, Abdominal Aneurysm, and other Aneurysms
  • Treatment of Carotid Artery Disease
  • Treatment of Arm Claudication or Vertebral insufficiency
  • Treatment for Peripheral Arterial Vascular Disease and Ulcers/Wounds
  • Treatment for active arterial bleeding such as that related to trauma, gastrointestinal ulcers, diverticulosis, tumors, hemoptysis, post partum bleeding
  • Treatment of Arteriovenous Malformations
  • Embolization of tumors
    • Benign: uterine fibroids, angiomyolipoma, hepatic adenoma, bone tumors
    • Malignant: renal cell carcinoma, primary and metastatic liver tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, bone tumors

Venous Circulation

  • Treatment of venous thromboembolic disease
    • IVC filters (permanent and removable)
    • Thrombolytic therapy for axillosubclavian or iliofemoral DVT
    • Mechanical thrombectomy of Pulmonary Embolus
  • Treatment of Venous Occlusions either due to benign or malignant process causing arm swelling, leg swelling, Budd Chiari syndrome, SVC syndrome
  • TIPS Procedure for treatment of Portal Hypertension causing variceal bleeding, refractory ascites, refractory hydrothorax, Budd-Chiari syndrome
  • Varicose and spider vein ablation
    • Sclerotherapy
    • Radiofrequency (minimally invasive) treatment of the saphenous and other veins
    • Traditional vein "stripping" when most appropriate
  • Chronic venous insufficiency of the legs
  • Reproductive System
    • Pelvic congestion syndrome
    • Varicocele
  • Venous sampling for adrenal glands, kidneys, pancreatic
  • Dialysis Access: Permanent AV fistula creation, hemodialysis catheter placement, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement

Cancer and Non-Vascular Disorders

  • Peritoneal dialysis catheter placement
  • Biopsies of thyroid lesions, solid organ lesions and bone lesions
  • Tumor therapy such as ablation, chemoembolization, and radioactive spheres
  • Pleurex catheter placement for refractory malignant pleural effusions and ascites
  • Drainage of abscess, painful cysts and abnormal fluid collections
  • Thoracentesis, Paracentesis and Pleurodesis
  • Peritoneal dialysis catheter placement
  • Treatment of Bile Duct Disease and Gallbladder disease with placement of drainage tubes, cholangioplasty, metallic stents and stone extraction
  • Cholecystotomy tube placement
  • Cecostomy tube placement
  • Treatment of Kidney disease with placement of nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, ureteroplasty and stone extraction
  • Suprapubic cystostomy tube placement
  • Gastrostomy or gastrojejunostomy feeding tubes
  • Cancer and Non-Vascular Disorders
  • Reproductive
    • Fallopian tube recanalization for infertility
    • Fallopian tube embolization for sterility
  • Back Pain therapies such as vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, discography, facet joint injections and sacroiliac joint injections

Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory for arterial and venous diagnostic testing

  • Lower extremity and upper extremity arterial physiologic “Doppler” tests
  • Carotid artery duplex scanning (Doppler ultrasound)
  • Transcranial cerebrovascular duplex exam
  • Venous imaging (Doppler ultrasound) for deep vein thrombosis of the arm or leg
  • Venous imaging (Doppler ultrasound) for varicose vein disease
  • Vein mapping for possible dialysis access
