Retirement Plan
Beginning the first day of the month after of one year of service, 1,000 hours worked, and attainment of age 21, Central DuPage Hospital employees are eligible for the retirement plan. Any participant who remains an active employee through December 31 of each year and works 1,000 hours (approximately 20 hours per week) during that calendar year is eligible for a contribution from CDH.
Matched Savings Plan
All CDH employees are eligible to make pre-tax contributions to the Matched Savings Plan up to the IRS maximum allowable limit. Eligibility is effective upon employment and after submission of a signed salary reduction agreement.
Employer-Matched Contributions
New employees are eligible for employer-matched contributions beginning the first day of the quarter following completion of 1,000 hours of service during a calendar year and 12 months of service. Once eligible, CDH will contribute a percentage match for every employee contributed dollar based upon the employee’s number of years of service.
