Employee Health Insurance

Medical Insurance

Central DuPage Hospital offers two BlueCross and BlueShield PPO plans (including one that is HSA compatible) and a HMO plan for CDH employees and their families. No matter what choice our employees make, they know they will get more from their coverage with a trusted name like BlueCross and BlueShield.

Dental Insurance

The BlueCare Dental Plan (Choice PPO) offered through BlueCross and BlueShield is a Preferred Provider plan that reimburses CDH employees and their families for services from providers in or out of network.  The plan has one of the largest networks nationally and in the state of Illinois. 

Employee Life Insurance

Full-time employees at CDH are eligible for free life insurance that is equal to either 1x or 2x their annual salary depending on their job classification.  Supplemental coverage for up to three times their annual salary may also be purchased by full-time and part-time employees.

Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

Employees may designate a pre-tax contribution to a health care flexible spending account to pay for healthcare expenses that are not covered by insurance. A dependent care flexible spending account is also an option to pay childcare expenses with pre-tax contributions.

Spouse and Dependent Life Insurance

Life insurance for spouse or dependents is available to full-time and part-time employees of CDH.
