WINFIELD, Ill., May 13, 2008 – Tammy Johndro-Pressley, 41, was recently named Director of External Communications at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) in Winfield, Ill.

“It is a privilege to spend my days talking with the community about the tremendous asset we all have in Central DuPage Hospital – a place we all can be so proud of,” said Johndro-Pressley. “I’m especially looking forward to learning about how CDH can most effectively partner with the communities we serve to make them even stronger and healthier.”

At Provena Mercy, among other responsibilities, Johndro-Pressley managed strategy, business development and physician affairs for both the behavioral health and medical-surgical hospitals.

A graduate of Benedictine University, she received her M.S. in management and organizational behavior with a concentration in healthcare administration. She received her bachelor’s degree in political science at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minn.

Active in her community, Johndro-Pressley is currently involved in outreach ministries at Glen Ellyn Bible Church. She and her husband, Tim, reside in Winfield with their four children.
