Dr. Most Named VP, Medical Affairs at CDH

 WINFIELD, Ill.,  July 11, 2007 — Kevin P. Most, DO, has been promoted to Vice President, Medical Affairs at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH). He replaces the retiring Kenneth Heaps, MD.

“Dr. Most and his team have established excellence as a standard at our Convenient Care Centers – excellent care, service, processes and follow up,” says Jim Spear, executive vice president of CDH. “His leadership has resulted in a team that enjoys working with him and patients who receive excellent care. The next step is to bring Dr. Most’s clinical and leadership skills into the hospital to further enhance the award-winning care we now offer.”

Responsibilities of the Medical Affairs office include accreditations and credentials of CDH health care providers. Working with the entire medical staff from internists to those who are very specialized, Dr. Most’s personal medical philosophy is to provide specialty care for every patient.

Dr. Most steps into this position with seventeen years of experience at CDH. In the last eight years, he held the position of Senior Medical Director of the Central DuPage Hospital Convenient Care Centers, located in Bloomingdale, Wheaton, Bartlett, Naperville and St. Charles. He also has been Medical Director of the Business Health Unit while remaining a physician on-staff at CDH since 1990.

Dr. Most is widely known for his popular health-related segments on WGN-AM radio shows with Spike O’Dell and Steve Cochran.

A graduate of University of Kansas, he received his Doctor of Osteopathic medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, later he returned to University of Notre Dame to graduate Magna cum Laude with a MBA.

Active in charitable giving with special interests in children’s health and athletics, Dr. Most gives of his time and talents to programs such as Children’s Memorial Hospital, Marklund Children’s Home, Chicago Christian Academy, Michael Jordan Foundation, Evans Scholar Foundation and Lifelink.

An avid golfer who earned an Evans Scholarship for caddies to pay for his college education, Dr. Most will be the course physician for the 2007 BMW Western Open at Cog Hill in September.

Dr. Most, 49, resides in Aurora.
