Cabin Fever Reliever: Tropical Nights
CAROL STREAM, Ill., January 26, 2007—Glen Ellyn/Wheaton Auxiliary of CNS Home Health & Hospice (CNS) will host its single largest fundraiser “Tropical Nights,” a cocktail party and silent auction on February 24, 2007 at St. Petronille Parish Center, 420 Glenwood Avenue, Glen Ellyn. The event will include open-bar beginning at 7:00 pm, hors d’oeuvres, auction and entertainment provided by “Steel Crazy,” a 10-piece steel drum band made up of all women.
In its 45th year, the Glen Ellyn/Wheaton Auxiliary is a volunteer organization which sponsors fundraising events to support the programs and services of CNS Home Health & Hospice. CNS Home Health & Hospice is a local non-profit, serving DuPage and six surrounding counties, which provides many services to our neighbors including hospice care for uninsured or underinsured terminally ill patients, community-wide bereavement support meetings for those who experience loss, including children’s groups, a geriatric assistance program for low-income, socially isolated, chronically ill elderly and a parish nurse program for local churches.
All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to CNS to support these programs.
