Central DuPage Physician Group Receives Top Honors
National Independent Group Surveys Patient Satisfaction Scores
Winfield, Ill., September 1, 2006 – When faced with the decision of who to care for you and your family, how do you select a doctor? You want someone you can trust as a professional and like as a person.
According to a national study by Professional Research Consultants (PRC), excellent patient satisfaction scores are a healthcare “seal of approval” and can be used as your benchmark when seeking physicians and healthcare services. Central DuPage Hospital (CDH), along with the physician members of Central DuPage Physician Group, recently received several patient satisfaction awards of excellence from PRC.
“There isn’t much information out there to help people choose a new physician,” says Dr. Scott J. Kolbaba, recently recognized as a Top Performer in Internal Medicine. “We are dedicated to providing an excellent healthcare experience for our patients. It is gratifying that a national independent firm has recognized that distinction in our practice. Knowing our current patients are highly satisfied is encouraging.”
PRC surveys patients by phone interviews in order to accurately assess and measure their perceptions and attitudes. The company has a data base of hundreds of hospital and health provider clients nationally and identifies the best performers in a number of categories. Twenty physicians, nine outpatient clinics and two specialty outpatient clinics from Central DuPage Physician Group received excellent patient satisfaction awards.
Award-winning Central DuPage Physician Group’s practices are located throughout the western suburbs in Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, St. Charles, Stratford, Warrenville, Wheaton and Winfield. Outpatient specialties receiving high honors were Endocrinology and Pediatrics.
