Cadence Health Names Marty Manning President of Cadence Medical Partners

Winfield, Ill., March 4, 2014 - Cadence Health announced that Marty Manning has been appointed President of Cadence Medical Partners (CMP) the system’s clinical integration and accountable care organization. Mr. Manning, a seasoned health care executive, will lead CMP and its more than 750 physician members.

“Marty has extensive experience leading clinically integrated organizations that will enable CMP to continue its strong growth,” said Mike Vivoda, President and Chief Executive Officer, Cadence Health. “CMP is an integral part of Cadence Health and under Marty’s leadership the organization is well positioned to enhance its offerings to physicians in Chicago’s western suburbs.”

CMP is a physician-hospital organization for board-certified or board-eligible physicians on the Delnor Hospital or Central DuPage Hospital medical staff. Members of CMP have access to care management programs that improve quality and reduce cost using advanced information technologies for patient data information sharing, analytics, care coordination and patient engagement.

“It is an honor to have been selected by Cadence Health to help serve the patients and families of this region,” said Marty Manning, president, Cadence Medical Partners. “I look forward to working with Cadence Health and its physicians to further improve health outcomes and efficiencies in the care delivery system.”

Mr. Manning joins CMP from the consulting firm Health Directions LLC in Oakbrook Terrace, where he served as executive vice president of population health management services. His 21-year career at Advocate Health Care prior to that included eight years as president of Advocate Physician Partners.
