CDH Names VP of Physician and Ambulatory Services

Drew Palumbo CDH

WINFIELD, Ill., March 25, 2011 – Andrew “Drew” Palumbo, MBA, 47, of Palatine, has been appointed vice president of Physician and Ambulatory Services at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) in Winfield, Ill. Prior to joining CDH, Palumbo was vice president of business affairs of Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group, and has held positions including executive director of a large independent physicians association, consultant at Price Waterhouse and founding member of the Tiber Group, a start-up healthcare advisory firm.
 
Palumbo assumed the role February 25 and he immediately took responsibility for the strategic and day-to-day operations of Central DuPage Physician Group, CDH’s six Convenient Care Centers, Business/Employee Health and physician services.

Palumbo has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame in biology and a Masters of Business Administration in finance and healthcare administration from the University of Chicago.

A resident of the northwest suburbs, he and his wife, Kristen, have four children. Palumbo volunteers his time as a board member and corporate officer for CommunityHealth (Illinois’ largest all-volunteer free clinic.)
