42 Physicians Named to US News Top Doctor List
Unranked directory created from peer nominations
WINFIELD, Ill., August 17, 2011 – Forty-two physicians on Central DuPage Hospital’s (CDH) medical staff have been nominated to U.S. News Top Doctor list by their peer physicians.
“When we refer a patient to another physician, we are putting our professional reputation on the line,” says CDH’s Vice President of Medical Affairs Kevin Most, D.O. “We do not take that responsibility lightly. Conversely, when another physician refers a patient to us we regard that as a very high honor; and that’s what makes a peer nominated list special. CDH is extremely proud of these 42 physicians.”

U.S. News Top Doctors was developed in collaboration with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., publisher of America’s Top Doctors and other guides, and was built upon data from Castle Connolly’s Top Doctor. The goals of the new project are twofold.
First, to help consumers find the doctors who can best address their needs. Top doctors are identified by location and by hospital affiliation, across a wide range of specialties and subspecialties and for more than 2,000 diseases, medical issues and procedures.
Second, doctors across the country are enlisted to share their awareness of who among their peers are the most worthy of referral. Their collective wisdom, available at usnews.com, will contribute to a growing knowledge base that extends and complements doctors’ longstanding tradition of seeking recommendations from a convenient sample of their trusted colleagues.
