CDH Foundation’s mission is to seek philanthropic gifts to advance excellent healthcare for the people in the communities served by Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and its affiliates. Established in 2000, the Foundation partners with generous and caring people, businesses, organizations and foundations throughout the community to support medical programs and services available at CDH.
Central DuPage Hospital was founded in 1964 through the efforts of local citizens wanting access to excellent medical care at a hospital close to home, and CDH still relies on local donors to strengthen its community healthcare mission. CDH Foundation is dedicated to carrying on this long history of charitable giving.
Through the generosity of caring people in the community, the Foundation helps fund medical facilities, equipment, services and programs to enhance pediatric and adult patient care. Gifts from generous donors have supported many important programs and services, including:
- Pediatric Infusion Center
- Breast Health Center
- Stroke Awareness and Prevention Program
- Electrophysiology Lab
- Chemical Dependency Treatment Assistance
- Pediatric Rehabilitation Equipment
- Pediatric Cardiology Diagnostic Center
- 12-Lead EKG Machines for Local Fire Departments
- Computers and DVD Players for Pediatrics
- Nursing Education Programs
- HomeCare Physicians
- CNS Home Health and Hospice
- Injury Prevention Program for Children
CDH Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation serves Central DuPage Hospital and its affiliates, including CNS Home Health & Hospice and HomeCare Physicians (a program of Central DuPage Physician Group).
